Salary: circa £60K-£70K

The company is a leading provider of electronic payment, risk management and payment security solutions to online merchants. It has recently been acquired by and operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Visa Inc. Headquartered in the United States, there are operations across the world, including UK, Singapore and Japan. There is an office in Belfast, Northern Ireland and big plans to expand into EMEA and Russia looking to triple in headcount within two to three years hence the need for this role. The UK is to become the regional hub and is based in Reading. There are approximately 50 staff currently.
This is an exciting opportunity to be in on the start of developing the company in the UK & EMEA. The role is as a standalone HR Manager responsible for HR in the UK and Belfast with a large part of the role being to support management in setting up new offices across Europe, Middle East and Africa. The successful candidate will be involved in recruitment, management development, developing & implementing the HR strategy, performance management and employee relations, training and development, succession and manpower planning, reward, and change management.
Further information about the role is as described in the attached job description with European HR experience essential, preferably experience of opening offices in Europe. The person specification is also attached and to emphasise, the individual should be confident, determined, able to build and maintain a high level of credibility, and be able to work well within a management team.
There will be some travel involved; at least 4 days a month in Belfast and ad hoc travel to EMEA as required.
